Pamela S Robins, MSEd, CSAC graduated from Mary Washington College in 1984 with a BA in Sociology, and from Old Dominion University in 1993 with a Master of Science in Education, with an emphasis on counseling. I am also a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. I have been working in the substance use recovery field for over 30 years and have experience in multiple areas. I worked in corrections as a therapist in the long term, intensive ACT Program in the Arlington County Detention Facility for 8 years, and 10 years as a treatment provider employed by RACSB and contracted to provide on-site services at the local probation department. I have extensive experience working with those with opioid use disorder, including pregnant women. I have also worked under a grant with the department of social services, and currently work in an intensive outpatient program as a full-time therapist. This is my passion and I love watching the change process as people grow in their recovery. My interests include my two dogs and my cat, art, collecting vintage clothing and purses, and watching my two college-aged kids grow into young adults.
