Janine Rumberger obtained a bachelor’s degree from Mount Holyoke in 1990 and completed her Master of Clinical Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1996. She worked for the Rappahannock Area Community Services Board (RACSB) first as a case manager, then as a therapist and finally, she was the Director of Emergency Services. Ms. Rumberger left RACSB and from there, went to work for the Women’s Program at Prince William Community Services Board. Ms. Rumberger joined Lighthouse Counseling in 2013.
Ms. Rumberger specializes in treatment for obsessive compulsive disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma and problems associated with substance use. She has completed specialized training in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorders, substance use disorders and EMDR.
In her free time, she enjoys travel, time with her family, art history, and playing with her dog Zoe.
