Ameer Abdel-Muhsin graduated from the University of Mary Washington in 2024 with a B.S. in the field of Psychology. While he was there, he contacted Lighthouse Counseling for an internship and spent his last semester at UMW working with Lighthouse staff directly. Since graduating, Ameer has begun working for the RACSB’s crisis stabilization program while also continuing to work for Lighthouse as a co-facilitator in one of their DBT skills groups. Ameer has plans to begin a graduate program at the start of 2025.

In his free time, Ameer enjoys watching baseball and soccer, being outdoors, playing video games with friends, and is an avid practitioner of Brazilian jiu jitsu.
